APTADC's 100 Faces of Diversity for The 100 Years of our Profession

Help APTADC Celebrate the Centennial of our Association!

Washington DC is one of the most diverse APTA chapters in the USA. Diversity has been a central issue for our chapter for decades.

Help us share “What aspect of diversity you bring to the profession of physical therapy.”

We encourage each therapist (PTA’s and PT’s) to make a statement about how they promote diversity in” the profession. This can be done on the camera function of your phone. Video footage or  your photo should be less than 1 minute. Individual pictures can also be submitted as a jpg and videos as an mp4. We plan to make this a promo video from our chapter as our contribution to the Centennial.

Email your photo or video footage by November 30th, 2020 along with your signed Media Release Form.

Your video can be as an individual or as a group. Everyone can participate!

Each video must address this question:

“What aspect of diversity do you bring to the profession of physical therapy?”

Responses may be one word, a sentence or two or displayed in writing on your picture/video.

Below are sample statements:
