Move, Heal, Live – Wellness Program with HEART at Therapeutic Sessions
HEART has an ongoing partnership with Therapeutic Sessions, a PT clinic in Ward 7. A unique wellness program that encompasses nutrition, exercise, and emotional wellness has been developed based on patient surveys. Move, Heal, Live consists of weekly educational sessions that address these topics, and the overall aim is to positively impact the health of the patients affiliated with the clinic and in individuals in the surrounding community. If you enjoy group activities or are interested in teaching, please consider getting involved!
Move, Heal, Live take place beginning October 9, 2021 and run on Saturdays from 10:30AM to noon for 6 sessions. There will be a break on October 30, 2021 We are looking to provide a hybrid model with both virtual and in-person instruction. We are also looking for donations and sponsorship for healthy food items, learning materials such as booklets, participation gifts such as gift cards to restaurants (Sweet Green, Cava, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe, etc), and raffled items.
