With merely 2% of the PT profession represented by minorities, there is an imperative need for addressing awareness of and access to our profession. This project seeks to expose middle to high school aged students to specialties and subspecialties of the PT profession, provide longitudinal mentorship through college and DPT application processes, and relate concepts learned in curricula to foundations needed for matriculation into health sciences programs. We are looking for PTs who share this passion for bringing awareness of our profession to younger generations, particularly minoritized populations in order to diversify our workforce and encourage interest in allied health professions.
